Terese Herrera – Executive Secretary

Terese has been a part of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush for 20 years. She started as a part time file clerk and has had several promotions in her time at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush including serving as an office manager.

Terese started working with Dr. Romeo soon after he joined Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. She worked as his medical secretary for twelve years before transitioning into her current position as Dr. Romeo’s Executive Secretary and Research Coordinator.

Terese coordinates all of Dr. Romeo’s travel and office schedule’s. She also take’s care of the following: scheduling all his lecture’s, meetings and travel arrangements, coordinate’s all visiting physician requests, creates policy and procedure for Dr. Romeo’s practice, assists with research projects and lends a helping hand when needed in the clinical office.

Terese misses the patient setting however, in her current position she primarily is able to work from home therefore, being able to spend more time with her two-year-old daughter and her husband.
